Optimus Participation Criteria


           
 
Board Certification
   

Physician participants must be board certified or board-eligible and are expected to adhere to the policies and standards set forth by Optimus Healthcare Partners.
 
Where a physician is not board certified they must meet the exceptions as outlined and approved with Optimus Credentialing Policy.

Physician must be on the medical staff of a hospital or have medical staff privileges.

 
           
 
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & Internet Connectivity
   

All physicians must have high-speed internet access in office.
Physicians must submit all claims through EDI.
 

Practice will sign up for data acquisition from Quest and LabCorp to be forwarded to Optimus data warehouse.
 
Physicians must have electronic connectivity with our Operations team to facilitate data exchange.

 

 
           
 
Contract Participation
   

Physician will participate in all Clinically Integrated ACO contracts that are arranged by Optimus.

 

 
           
 
Clinical Integration Program Participation
   

Physician must participate in the Optimus Clinical Integration Programs.

 
           
 
Communications & Access
   

Practice will install Optimus Clinical Integration software, be trained in, and have a Clinical Coordinator use the Optimus Patient Registry.
 

Practice will install, be trained in, and use RelayHealth connectivity and referral tools between the Optimus network of member physicians.
 
Physician will use e-prescribing.

 
           
 
Office Staff Training
   

Physician/practice will designate a Clinical Coordinator and attend all Optimus seminars or webinars.

 
           
 
Committee Participation
   

Physician will participate on a committee. You may request to be a Standing Committee member. Non-standing members will be selected by lottery and be assigned based on the specific quality factors being evaluated by the committee.
